About Me

LaVerne Sease-Batie’s life experiences have led her to become an avid educator, parent coach, and advocate for parents and children. She is a native of Bridgeton, New Jersey. She is a wife, mother, author, parent coach, and school counselor.

LaVerne is on a mission to help stressed-out parents improve their children’s performance in school and get good grades. Also, she seeks to bridge the gap between parents and teachers by encouraging them to form partnerships to ensure students’ academic success! She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from Fairleigh Dickinson University. Years later, she earned her Master of Science in Human Resource Management from Wilmington University, and later, she went on to earn a Master of Science in Administration of Human Services. She again went on to further her educational goals by earning a Master of Education in School Counseling and is currently a School Counselor at Quarter Mile Lane School.  LaVerne’s most important possession outside her family is her relationship with God.

Her favorite scripture is Philippians 4:13: “I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me.”
