How ICAN1 Supports Parents, Children & Families
ICAN1 LLC provides practical support for parents, children, teens, students, and families facing everyday challenges at home and in school. Support is provided through parent coaching, books and workbooks, student and family programs, and school and community resources. Areas of focus include parent-child communication, behavior and responsible choices, confidence, emotional awareness, growth mindset, school-related concerns, and helping children and teens develop practical skills they can use in everyday life.
Parent coaching provides parents and guardians with a supportive place to talk through parenting concerns and identify practical strategies they can use at home. Support may focus on parent-child communication, behavior and choices, setting expectations, school-related concerns, confidence, and other everyday parenting challenges. Coaching helps parents look at what may be contributing to a concern and identify practical next steps that fit their family's needs.
ICAN1 books, journals, and workbooks provide practical activities, reflection opportunities, and guided tools for parents, children, teens, students, and educators. Resources address topics such as communication, emotions, confidence, growth mindset, responsible choices, reflection, coping strategies, and personal growth. They can be used at home, in schools, or as additional tools to support learning and meaningful conversations.
ICAN1 offers workshops and programs designed to provide students and families with practical information and tools they can use in everyday situations. Topics may focus on communication, confidence, decision-making, emotional awareness, growth mindset, responsible choices, and strengthening family support. Sessions can be designed for individuals, small groups, parent groups, schools, and community-based programs based on the purpose and audience.
ICAN1 provides educational programs, tools, and resources for schools and community organizations that support students, parents, families, and educators. Areas may include confidence, communication, social-emotional skill development, growth mindset, responsible decision-making, parent engagement, and strengthening connections between families and schools.

Who ICAN1 Serves
ICAN1 LLC provides resources and support for parents and guardians, children and teens, students, educators, schools, and community-based organizations. Services and resources are designed around the needs of the individual, family, group, school, or program being supported.
Parents may seek support when they are dealing with repeated behavior concerns, communication struggles, school problems, strong emotions, disagreements, or a child or teen who shuts down or pushes back. ICAN1 helps parents look at what is happening, consider what may be contributing to the concern, strengthen communication, set clear expectations, and identify practical strategies they can try at home.
Strengthening communication does not mean ignoring inappropriate behavior, removing expectations, eliminating appropriate consequences, or allowing disrespect. Parents can maintain boundaries, expectations, and accountability while also listening, communicating clearly, and helping children understand the connection between their choices and consequences.
